Crispy Baked Chicken Wings
Oh, how I love chicken wings!!! Crispy, tender and delicious. But, I don’t always want to set up a deep fryer and then deal with the clean-up, sooooo… Here is a great way to get that crispy greatness in the oven.
Enjoy
Ingredients
· 1lb Chicken wings (drumettes and wingettes)
· Corn Starch
· Garlic powder
· Salt/pepper
· Cayenne pepper (if you want to spice them up a bit, or any other add on like lemon pepper, Italian seasoning, etc.)
Directions
· Line a baking sheet with foil (to save cleanup)
· Use a wire rack or spray non-stick spray on foiled sheet
· Pat dry wings
· Mix dry ingredients in mixing bowl
· Dredge wings in dry mixture, make sure to shake off any extra powder (set aside in refrigerator for at least 30 min)
· Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees (F)
· Place wings on baking sheet (be sure they don’t touch)
· Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and internal temp reaches 165 degrees (F)
It's a play it by taste kinda thing.
EAT AND REPEAT!!!!
